We are a small show kennel and keep no more than eight hounds at a time. I have been showing my beagles since 1991 and I show my hounds at Open and Championship Shows across the country. I have had the honour of judging this delightful breed on seven occasions at Championship level.
I have seven beagles listed in the Kennel Club Stud Book, six of which I have bred, two of whom I showed to their Championship titles. The highlight to-date has been Champion Deaconfield Bonnie gaining the RCC at Crufts in 1999.
I breed one or sometimes two litters a year and am a member of the Royal Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme. The beagles I breed from have been tested clear for MLS, NCCD and Lafora.
Help and advice is always available. Well bred, home reared puppies are occasionally available to the right homes. The puppies leave home having been vet checked, wormed, microchipped and have 4 weeks free insurance.
New owners complete puppy sales contract agreeing to return the puppy to me should they no longer be able to care for him/her. Older puppies and adults are occasionally available to permanent, loving homes.
