Beagles have owned us since 1985 when we bought our first beagle from David Nicholson of Sabinhay beagles. Sam became bitten by the show bug and husband Martin does the chore stuff at home (or so he claims!)
We breed only occasionally when we would like a new pup to show having a special interest in the rarer colours. A good beagle is not a bad colour! We are members of the KC Assured Breeder Scheme and puppies get to meet the farm animals where we live as well as running in the paddock (and playing in snow!). Puppies are reared with us in the house to make sure they are of sound temperament and used to everyday life.
We have bred and shown both CC and RCC winners and JWs too.
All our beagles are clear for MLS, NCCD, FVII and IGS.
We occasionally have adults or older puppies available to permanent loving homes.
Sam judges at CC level and is also the Breed Health Coordinator for the UK, welcoming emails on health issues within the breed.
Sam is a member of the following Breed Clubs –
Northern & Midland Counties The Beagle Club, The Beagle Association, Four Counties Beagle Club, Devon, Cornwall & South West Beagle Society, The Welsh Beagle Club, Beagle Club of Northern Ireland, Scottish Beagle Club and West Mercia Beagle Club.
